The Children’s Revised Impact of Event Scale (CRIES) is a brief child-friendly measure designed to screen children at risk for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). It has been applied in a variety of cultures as post-traumatic stress symptoms in children are more similar than they are different from one culture to the other.
