Screen for Adult Anxiety-Related Disorders

Anxiety is a  mental health disorder characterised by feelings of worry, anxiety or fear that are strong enough to interfere with one's daily activities. (SCAARED) is a 44-item inventory rated on a 3 point Likert-type scale. The purpose of the instrument is to screen for signs of anxiety disorders in adults.

SCAARED can be used to differentiate between somatic/panic/agoraphobia, generalized anxiety and social anxiety.
